Heating Instructions
Thank you for ordering from Micklethwait Craft Meats. Now that you have some tasty Texas BBQ at home, let’s help you heat those meats! For reheating meat, we highly recommend using a meat thermometer to temp your meal just right!
WHOLE TURKEY
- Leave turkey wrapped in foil, place it on a sheet pan on the middle rack of oven, label side up.
- Heat at 325° for about 3hrs. or until the internal temperature reaches 155°F.
- Cooking times vary on ovens so give yourself plenty of time!
TURKEY BREAST
- Leave turkey breast wrapped in foil, place it on a sheet pan on the middle rack of oven, label side up.
- Heat at 325° for about 1.5-2 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 155°F.
- Cooking times vary on ovens so give yourself plenty of time!
BRISKET
- Leave brisket wrapped in foil, place it on a sheet pan on the middle rack of oven, label side up.
- Heat at 325° for 2 – 2.5 hrs. or until internal temperature reaches 155°F.
- Cooking times vary on ovens so give yourself plenty of time! We highly recommend using a meat thermometer/temp probe.
SLICING BRISKET
- SLICE: Now that your brisket is nice and hot, it’s time to slice it up! You always want to slice a brisket against the grain, but with a whole brisket, the direction of the grain changes throughout.
